Why Doogle

Doogle was created as there was a lack of easily accessbile information on where you can walk your dogs, both on leash and off leash. The first version of the site simply had the Exercise areas listing for places to walk your dog, with this all new verion of the site this has been enhanced with the use of Google Maps and we have now added some more great features such as Lost and Found, Adoption Services and for those of you wanting to find some people to walk your dog with, there is Doogle's all Walking Buddy Listing.

Doogle is managed by you, the user. All the features on Doogle are available to registered users and of course it is 100% free! You can still add a walking location for others to find great places to walk their dog without registering, but you will be missing out on some great features. Browse exercise areas and places to walk your dog from beaches to parks added by users of the site. Their are great places to walk your dog, from West Coast beaches in Auckland, regional parks nationwide and there are even some Internation listings. Even in the middle of winter, beaches are a great place to walk your dog, especially some of the black sand beaches as the sand surface doesn't get as hot as it does in Summer. Be respectful of the local dog laws when adding the listing to Doogle as users viewing it will take your word for it. You can add to this listing by clicking here.

Browse the Lost and Found for dogs offered and wanted by users. Thanks to Google Maps you can view where a user has lost their dog. This gives you an aerial perspective in Map mode or Satellite mode. If you or someone you know has lost a dog recently, then click here to add it to Doogle.

Looking for a new puppy, or perhaps a dog that is already toilet trained? Users can add a litter or older dogs for offer, or can add a request for a dog/puppy for other users to see. Whether a pedigree or an "Alley X" free to a good home, you can add to the Doogle adoption services by clicking here.

Walking Buddy listing is a service for people to list themselves as looking for someone to walk with in their area. This is great for people that may have moved to a new area or just looking to catch up with like-minded people to walk their dogs with, at a park, beach or round the streets, this is up to you. Contact details are kept private as initial contact is made through the Doogle site and not via email. If you contact someone through the site, they will get an email from Doogle with your email address so they can get back in touch. If you do not want to, no problem, just don't reply. Our news page offers late breaking news from anywhere in the world. As dogs and their owners are rarely in the news, we do try to keep this up-to-date with general news snippets.
